This pizza dough recipe was adapted from a post from Willow Bird Baking Magic Chocolate, Coconut, and Pecan Pastry Braid. I took a chance and tried it out and it came out so great as a pizza dough. Use a food processor to do all the work for you!
2 cups of your favorite GF flour blend, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2c. unsalted butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2c. of milk, minus 1/2 tsp
1/2tsp. almond extract
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
In a food processor, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Using the “pulse” option on the food processor, add the cream cheese & butter (about 6 pulses)
Add the milk and almond extract to create a loose dough.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and kneed VERY LIGHTLY for 4-5 strokes.
Between to sheets of wax paper, roll the dough to your desired size.
Remove wax paper and place on a cookie sheet or pizza stone.
Drizzle with olive oil and spread around dough evenly with a spoon.
Cook at 425 degrees in oven for 12-15minutes or until dough turns a slight brown.
